DUO DENIM

HAND PAINTED CUSTOMIZED DENIM JACKETS

About DUO

At its core, Duo Denim's mission is simple - create wearable art that champions uniqueness, celebrates the individual, and upends fashion as we know it. Gone are the days of wearing just another jacket that blends into the crowd. All Duo pieces are unique and personalized; we are artists, and we want you to have your voice be heard in what you wear. What started as a hobby has developed into a growing global business that produces one-off, hand painted denim jackets of the highest quality.  This isn't fashion, it's art you can wear.

  • GOECO BY 2A: SUSTAINABLE TOTES

    May 13, 2020

GoEco is a local Portuguese brand that promotes ecological and sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics.

  • #BLACKLIVESMATTER.

    June 15, 2020

In June of 2020, we sought to create a piece to raise awareness and demonstrate our support towards the Black Lives Matter movement.

It carries several symbolic elements; the denim itself represents an army that aspires to protect without prejudice, the unity of hands symbolizes a unison of diverse backgrounds and ethnicities, and the heart on the collar remembers the lives we have lost in the fight against police brutality.

Upon completion, this piece was auctioned and all proceeds were donated to the Black Lives Matter Foundation.

  • #HATEISAVIRUS

    May 13, 2020

This commission was a collaboration with Angel Zhang. Angel is a Pratt Institute undergrad student that took part in the #Iamnotavirus campaign in order to raise awareness towards discrimination during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This collaboration epitomizes one of Duo's core beliefs; individuals can - and should - have their voices heard in what they wear.
